Viognier

Verdelho is a native Portuguese white wine grape made famous on the island of Madeira (and it’s found an exciting new home in South East Australia). Verdelho has high sugar content and acidic levels but very low tannins. Verdelho grapes ripen early but can be prone to powdery mildew and the vines can also be susceptible to frost during the spring. But when the stars align, you’ve a complex dry wine that’s sipping perfection.
